Alexandra Lonardo

ABOUT ALEX

Alexandra Lonardo is a New York City based actor, singer, and director. Alex has a BFA in acting and a BA in directing from Marymount Manhattan College. 

Alex grew up in Staten Island,New York. Her first experience into theatre was through ballet, performing in the Nutcracker. Alex loved to dance and connecting to her story through movement but she felt a piece of her identity and joy was missing. Eventually, after hours spent watching Glee and listening to Wicked she found home in theatre. Through theatre, Alex has learn blossom into a character experience and leave with more empathy and strength. This passion, that has been developed since the age of six, has turned Alex into an artist who gravitates towards work that is courageous, vulnerable, and impactful. 

Alex strives in her career to make art that has an audience member realize something raw and true about themselves, the person sitting next to them, or the world around them.

When Alex is not performing or directing, she will be reading a Taylor Jenkins Reed book, hanging out with her dog Archie or bringing friends to try a new coffee shop.
